In Florida’s system of justice there are many constitutional rights. Two are fundamental. One is that the citizens of Florida are guaranteed the right to elect their circuit judges.[1]  The other is that the citizens of Florida are guaranteed that any person elected to judicial office can serve but one master – the citizens who elected them. Unfortunately, with one judge in Florida, both fundamental guarantees have been repeatedly ignored.
